Bishop Druitt College

The Bishop Druitt Ultimate Flying Club has come together with the help and enthusiasm of its founding lecturer Mr. Eric Gibbings. A pilot himself, Eric is keen to pass on and share the ample benefits of becoming a pilot.  Flying skills are a massive advantage for those that acquire them, and can be transferred anywhere on the globe, and probably now for the first time, within this generation, will become a skill that will be useable for realistic commercial space flight.

As the days of old expensive government run agencies and craft are showing there age, pioneering young companies are lining up to be a part of the space scene, and capitalize on the potential super boom of space tourism, and commercial payload delivery. Check out Virgin Galactic for a true vision of the future of flight.

Recently the Aero Club president was invited to address BDUFC about the benefits of gaining a pilots license. He spoke to the enthusiastic students about the global reach of flying skills and advantages both social and economic of such skills. The Aero Club at Coffs Harbour airport understands the significance of flight training, and utilizes a global perspective to aid its current and future students, so that they too, one day, can aim for the sky (or stars), but one things for sure, equiped with a license to fly, THEY will choose there own destiny.
